I am a Toronto based filmmaker, illustrator and maker of creative things. I studied at Ryerson University's School of Image Arts where I acquired a BFA Degree in Film Studies. While I enjoy every aspect of filmmaking, my strengths lie in the art department. I love the challenge of designing and building sets in the sound stage, prop-making and playing with fake blood on a budget. In addition to working on set, I also found my niche in drawing. I have been experimenting with different media since I learned to pick up a pencil as a little girl, and I am self-taught in both traditional and digital disciplines of illustration and visual art. I currently offer my art department and illustration services on a freelance basis.
I am inspired by low-brow and erotic art, genre films, animation and children's literature. In my free time, I love to customize vinyl toys, shadow cast films, read and spend time with my husband and our four cats.
